Efficiency by Economical Chilona in the 1980s
In the 1980s, a company called Jeep introduced shaving, and it was instantly a hit. Toyota followed suit with the RAV4 and the Harrier, Jetta, Camry chassis report base Cora, and Oolo became instant hits all over the world in different markets. The Harrier was also called the Lexus RX 300 for a certain time period. They had their own different identity, their own different look, but it was a Lexus all over the world. Eventually, it became its own model, the Harrier, and Henry Mannequin.
Detector Autobahn
The British fighter jet and this car look almost similar again, heading to a package that was there, but this looks more like the fighter jet. Toyota aimed for a flowy design with a coupe-ish effect, so the boot space and headroom are a bit limited. Most manufacturers, when trying to establish a car as luxurious, give it a wide stance, which makes the car look a little obnoxious in my opinion, but some people love it and love this body kit.
Section for Aerodynamics
The section is completely sealed off for better aerodynamic efficiency, and part of the collar cools the radiator behind this front fascia. You can see a lot of sculpting even on the bumper; it’s like a multi-layer design. Moving along, you can see the front camera, the autonomous braking radar, and a camera that records all the traffic activities at a maximum angle, which is a benefit. The color is beautiful, with about seven layers of paint. It’s called Santorini Black when on a Range Rover, but here it’s called Midnight Black.
Side and Wheels
Moving to the side, you can see the big rims—225/55 with R19 Toyo Proxes tires. The Japanese favor these tires, which may have certain benefits that elevate the hybrid drive on this car. I will cover the features, including hydra degashi, where you can see additional model stability and side airbags. The body is designed to offer better visibility, and the same chassis and hybrid technologies are used in other models.
Keyless Entry and More
This car features keyless entry, which makes it easy to lock and unlock the car. It also has a panoramic roof that doesn’t open. The detector is electrochromatic, offering convenience with stainless steel door handles that accentuate the design. Dual exhausts are functional, improving aerodynamic efficiency. A sharp fin is present for looks, though non-functional, and the tinted windows add a nice touch.
Interior Details
Inside, you can see a full-size spare tire—rare in a hybrid. I’d honestly prefer this car without the body kit, but many prefer it with the kit. The taillight design reminds me of a famous German manufacturer, almost like a copy. The taillights are full LED, and they look nice at night.
Performance
The Harrier is powered by a 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle engine, a four-cylinder that powers the front wheels. It features serial hybrid technology, though it’s old, but Toyota revamped it with hybrid energy motors and a dynamic force block engine paired with a good gearbox. The engine has an impressive 41% thermal efficiency. Corner assist technology is used to stabilize the vehicle by braking the inner wheels.
Driving Experience
Starting the Harrier with a push-start button, the interior is highly refined. This vehicle comes with a heads-up display, which is a nice touch, showing speed, eco, and power screens. The 12.3-inch screen offers good driving position visibility. The interior features a two-tone design with black leather seats and brown inserts, offering a premium feel.
Technology
The JBL premium sound system and Nanoe-X technology help kill 99.9% of viruses. A storage space is available, and a back camera assists when reversing. The overall interior is comfortable, with LED room lights and wireless charging. The car is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and the 12-speaker JBL sound system provides a high-quality listening experience without distortion, even at high volumes.
Driving Comfort
This car includes many modern technologies like blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, and a surround camera. It offers a luxurious driving experience, making it a better choice compared to some competitors like the Mercedes GLC AMG Premium Plus. The Harrier offers a smooth ride, even over bumps, and is comfortable for long drives.
Price and Value
The price of a new Harrier starts around $32,961, The non-hybrid variant is slightly cheaper. Given the engine, transmission, and hybrid technology, this car provides a complete package.
